Ingredients

  • Makhana (fox nuts) – 1 cup
  • Ghee – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric – a pinch
  • Black pepper – a pinch
  • Roasted cumin powder – ¼ tsp

  • Sesame seeds (roasted) – 1 tsp
  • Flaxseeds (roasted) – 1 tsp

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and add the makhana.
  2. Roast on a low flame, stirring continuously, until the makhana turns crisp.
  3. Add turmeric, black pepper, roasted cumin powder, and rock salt.
  4. Mix well and switch off the flame.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before eating.
